Angela has over two decades of experience in working with sexual trauma through her clinical work with The Green House, SARSAS and Barnardo’s in Bristol and Somerset, as well as in her private practice as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. This brief reflective seminar will give delegates an opportunity to deepen their professional expertise in supporting adults who have experienced sexual abuse in their childhoods.

Course Outline:

  • Exploring the symptoms & impact of childhood sexual trauma
  • Understanding the terrain of ‘recovery’ from childhood abuse
  • Landmarks and resources for effective sexual trauma work
  • Self-care for practitioners working with sexual trauma
